Make a Difference in Someone’s Life Become a Hospice Volunteer
Roadrunner Hospice invites you to join our Hospice Volunteer Program and make a difference in the lives of patients and families who are facing end of life.
Hospice requires a team of dedicated individuals that includes physicians, nurses, aids, chaplains, social workers and Volunteers to be alongside of patients and families at this important time. In addition to direct patient involvement and companionship, there are office-based administrative opportunities for Volunteers as well.
The Roadrunner Volunteer Program provides on-going training which includes understanding the hospice process, working with families, listening, communication skills, confidentiality, grief and support.
If you are interested in becoming a hospice Volunteer or for more information about the Roadrunner Volunteer Program, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Bob Scanlon at 505-321-4819 or e-mail at [email protected].
Make time to give back and make a difference in the lives of others.
